Nusa penida

Nusa Penida is an island located in South-East Bali, accessible by boat in 45 minutes from Sanur.

Its sites offer divers crystal clear water with healthy coral and abundant fish life. But it is especially on this island that you will have the opportunity to dive with rays Mantas and sunfishs, the famous mola-molas!

Pour notre journée de plongées à Nusa Penida, nous prenons notre bateau de 14 mètres de long pour se rendre sur les sites de plongées en 30 à 40 min en fonction de la mer et nous organisons  2 ou 3 plongées suivant la demande. Entre les 2 premières plongées un encas avec boissons sera offert puis le déjeuner se fera en plateau repas après la 2 eme plongée, pour 2 plongées vous êtes de retour vers 14h, pour 3 plongées vers 16h30. Es amateurs de snorkeling sont les bienvenus.

Crystal Bay is one of the best-known places in Bali because it is one of the only places in the world where you can meet giant sunfish (called "mola-mola") about 3 meters wide. From July to the end of October, these pelagics go back to the great depths to be cleaned by the fishes and waited between 50 and 25 meters.

Outside the mola-molas season, diving remains excellent. The site is very rich in coral and reef fishes (clown fish, Oriental gatrins, anthas, Baltic angelfish fish, shellfish ...).

Manta Point

Manta Point is south of Nusa Penida. In the middle of a bay protected by cliffs, this plankton-rich dive site serves as a "cleaning station" for Mantas rays. Indeed, they are used to land on a rock to be cleaned by cleaner fishes. While waiting their turn, they turn around the divers having fun with the bubbles.
 
Our guides were able to count up to 15 during our dives. So you can see them almost all year on this dive site, become a must in Bali! 

 

Dives on Manta Point take place only in case of good weather conditions.

North of penida

Good level

On the various dive sites located north of Penida (Blue Corner, Mangrove, Toyapakeh, S.D, Ped, Sental, Buyung, Kutapang, Malibu Point), the currents are stronger. Thus, you will probably observe "big fishes" such as triggerfish, turtles, reef sharks, marine snakes, jackfish or barracudas.
